The 1998 Euclid Contest - B.C. Results
In the 1998 Euclid Contest there were at least 2,439 participating B.C. students from 150 schools.
Only students who had a total score of at least 50 are considered for the following tabulations. Some students (*) considered for these tabulations are ineligible nationally because of age and/or residency restrictions. The indicated scores are based on the BC marking. Some scores will change after national re-marking. In each table it is an honor to be a ranking school.

The following accolades result from outstanding performance in the 1998 Euclid Contest:
1. The top 5 schools based on the best 10 entrants receive plaques.
2. The students in Groups I, II and III and the Euclid Contest Coordinators of the top 5 schools receiving plaques were invited to UBC on Friday, June 5, 1998 for a special day of activities.
3. The Euclid Contest Coordinators of the higher ranking schools in each tabulation will be invited to mark the 1999 Euclid Contest!! 4. Students scoring at least 60 (around 400 students) will be invited to the UBC Hon. calculus courses Math 120/121. A special section of Math 121 is offered in the1st term for those who with a 5 in AP Calculus AB or at least 75% in the Math 100 Challenge Exam.
